CRDi is probalby referring to the type of injection on this diesel. It means Common Rail Injection. Mercedes is using this and Volkswagen has started. Typically it is at a higher pressure than normal injection systems. Google Common Rail diesel and that will help you. Typically these systems result in more power and economy. Hope this helps.
