l say your wheels and tires need to be BALANCED.they will sends rattles/shakes/vibrations to your steering wheel once they have gone out of BALANCE due to normal tire wear and tear.wheel and tire should be Balanced every 6,000 miles.

Balance your rear tyres. Preferably, balance all four while you are at it. Rear wheel imbalance leads to steering wheel judder at higher speeds, while the front wheels, if unbalanced, would induce a judder at much lower speeds.

It should not be any more than the above, but should it still persist, check your suspension and if any of the wheel rims is bent.

How many kms has ur vehicle covered? If it is under warranty, do not hesitate to take to the authorised service center.
If u r out of warranty, first, do a visual examination of all ur tyres. Is the thread worn evenly? Do u have equal rubber on both left & right for both front & rear wheels? If not, there is a problem with the wheel alignment. Check air pressure also. IF all of this OK, then, as already advised, frist check wheel alignment & balance. If the problem persists after doing this, there is a problem with the steering system, & u have no option except to go to a workshop.
