Hi guys & girls...l am planning to buy a scorpio by mid of dec 2007, and l would like to change the wheels and go for a bigger alloy to give macho look... so is it possible fit an 18'' alloy wheels in this vehicle?? if yes which would be suitable tyre size?? pls. respond.
hi buddy, thanx for the answer, l know that top of the line scorpios are with factory fitted alloywheels, but it doens't look nice, coz the entire wheel & tire is still inside the body...My plan is to fit 16'' (same size) micky thompson alloy and bit more wider tyres... what is ur comments on this?? and if possible, could u let me know the weight of scorpio is standard alloywheel with tyres?

Alloys wheels r good; & l think some models come with factory fitted alloy wheels. All scorpios come with tubeless tyres as standard. bigger wheels r a strict no-no. Scorpios have a higher center of gravity, & will be further raised with bigger wheels, so r likely to topple over at high speeds, if fitted with bigger wheels.

And aaaaarrrrgggghhhh!! tyres jutting out of the body??? First, people modify the suspension & axles & whatnot to get that ugly look. Simply swapping wheels / tyres will not do that, afaict. And just imagine what a minor scrape with a rick is going to do to ur expensive alloys & tyres??
